Venetian blinds are made from aluminium, timber, or PVC and combine versatility and light control that only venetians can provide. They are a cheaper alternative to Shutters, while giving a similar look.
If looking for traditional timber venetians, they are available in a variety of timbers in a selection of lacquered, oiled or polymer finishes. Our Venetians are finished with traditional pelmets
and, like all our products, we use only the very best components.
All 50mm Venetians have 2 sets of cords, one to lift and lower the blinds, and the other to tilt the slats offering fantastic slat control over light entering your room. Alternatively all 25mm Venetians will have one lifting cord and one wand for tilting for light control. With this in mind, it makes venetian blinds great on windows whether they are ones that have very little light, or those with lots of light, or even ones that change throughout the day. You will have complete control over how much or little you let in.
Something to keep in mind, while these blinds block a lot of light, they are not blockout blinds. Even when the blinds are fully closed, they’ll let low levels of light through. If you’re the type to need a completely dark room for sleep – consider other options.
While Timber blinds are a lovely addition to a bedroom or living room, if you are looking to upgrade your blinds in wet environments such as the kitchen or bathroom, our Eco Venetians, are a great option. They are incredibly strong and manufactured to be able to withstand high levels of UV light from the sun without warping, cracking or fading.
One thing that is for sure, the quality of off the shelf pre-packaged venetian blinds is sub-par compared to our high-quality Australian Made Venetians.
