What is UNiQ's Fabric and Surface Sanitiser?

Our Fabric and Surface Sanitiser is a unique Australian-manufactured, highly efficient, bonded treatment for both soft and hard surfaces formulated to target bacteria and a range of other germs. The active ingredient in our UNiQ formula will bond to hard surfaces like walls and furniture, and textiles such as curtains, carpets, bedding and upholstery. It will target mould, bacteria and a broad range of germs protecting you and your family.

All our soft furnishing cleaning services and Air Conditioner service includes a complimentary application of our superior sanitiser. So when you book to have your Curtains or Drapes, Upholstery, fabric blinds such as Romans, Mattresses, Bedding and Pillows, Carpet and Rugs, Air Conditioners, or Sleeping Bags cleaned, your items will return with our added protection.

Some disinfectants formulated to target germs lose their effectiveness in seconds or minutes after application. The active ingredient in UNiQ's Fabric and Surface Sanitiser will bond to treated articles and surfaces and remain active until it is worn away. Thus leaving your environment protected for longer.

UNiQ's Fabric and Surface Sanitiser is sprayed onto clean textiles, such as your carpet or upholstery, the active ingredient will bond to textile fibres. It is scientifically formulated to kill 99.9 % of bacteria and protect against a range of germs and other microorganisms.

As a specially formulated QUAT (quaternary ammonium compound), our Fabric and Surface Sanitiser has been scientifically proven to destroy Enveloped Viruses (the same virus type as Novel Coronavirus CoViD-19).

With this in mind, it is important to know that your UNiQ technician has been properly trained in the application of this safe and hygienic product.

UNiQ's Fabric and Surface Sanitiser protection may diminish over time with ongoing wear. With that in mind, to ensure that you are provided with ongoing prevention and protection, we will remind you when re-application is due, generally twice a year for your home and 3 times a year at your business premises. In instances of high use, we may recommend more regular applications.

UNiQ's Fabric and Surface Sanitiser lasts longer on textiles than on hard surfaces, similarly low-use areas last longer than high-use areas. That is also to say abrasive dry soils and wear-n-tear will impact the long-term effectiveness. Accordingly, regular maintenance cleaning is important and increased application frequency may need to be considered.

It is important that UNiQ's Fabric and Surface Sanitiser be applied to clean textiles and surfaces to be effective. It is not designed to cut through dirt and grime. For that reason the best performance is attained after cleaning.

We offer an application-only service for UNiQ’s customers who have had their items cleaned in the last few months.

UNiQ's Fabric and Surface Sanitiser will be included as part of your cleaning service at no additional cost. UNiQ’s technicians have been trained in the application of this product. They will spray/micro-mist the product to ensure it is comprehensively applied to provide maximum benefits. It is safe and hygienic.

To maintain ongoing protection UNiQ's Fabric and Surface Sanitiser should be re-applied as recommended by our technician.

The application of UNiQ's Fabric and Surface Sanitiser may provide some safety or irritation issues for the ill or immune deficient. Your UNiQ technician will recommend you cover and protect your pets and leave the area during application. You may reoccupy after 30 minutes.
