Our Upholstery Cleaning Now Includes a Complimentary Fabric and Surface Sanitiser Treatment
UNiQ's Fabric and Surface Sanitiser is a highly effective sanitiser that kills 99.4% of germs. It is residually active, meaning it will continue to sanitise your lounge suite for months after application. This is important because other sanitising agents are just fragrances and lose effectiveness within minutes or seconds from application.
Our superior Sanitiser product binds to the fibres in your lounge to provide protection against microbial attack, a broad spectrum of bacteria and other micro-organisms.
UNiQ's Fabric and Surface Sanitiser will remain effective for months after application, and we will contact you when your next service is due. We recommend re-application every 1-2 months in commercial premises.
WHITE COTTON AND LINEN FABRICS
Silk, Cotton, Wool, Linen, and Bamboo fabrics can be tricky and hard to clean. Some of these fabrics can only be low moisture (ULMC) or dry cleaned due to the risk of cellulosic browning and/or water marking. UNIQ Services cleaning processes release the dirt, oil and grime from the lounge suite without the use of excessive water or solvents. The process may be performed by hand and whilst the results are great, occasionally fall short of client expectation.
Please note - The cleaning of natural fabrics such as cotton and linen can be more time consuming and technically intensive than cleaning synthetic fabrics. An additional charge of up to $10 per seating position may apply for natural fabrics. This will be confirmed on site at pre-inspection.
PRINTED COTTON & LINEN FABRICS
These fabrics are usually more easily processed than white or natural cottons or linens and can be cleaned with a hot water extraction clean. However, the linen fabric may still be susceptible to cellulosic browning and/or water marking and the printed cotton fabrics to dye migration or fugitive dying (colour bleeding). We process these fabrics with the UNiQ ULMC. Finally, we rinse the fabric with a mist of water then dry extract clean to remove the soiling. We then apply a neutralising post mist to prevent brown out and stabilise colours and towel dry. Your lounge is then sanitised with UNiQ Fabric Sanitiser to protect against virus and bacteria and prevent mould. This approach ensures that we can safely and effectively clean your lounge suite with great results.

SYNTHETIC FABRICS & BLENDS

We use hot water extraction clean to rinse the fabric and remove the soils. We then apply a neutralising post mist to prevent brown-out and to stabilise colours, and then towel dry. Your lounge is sanitised with UNiQ Fabric Sanitiser to protect against virus and bacteria and prevent mould.
